The Revista Eletrônica Direito e Conhecimento (REDEC) publishes dossiers, articles, and unpublished reviews written in Portuguese, English, or Spanish, in accordance with the journal’s editorial standards.
The journal requires a minimum academic degree of Master’s for authors interested in submitting articles. In the case of collective authorship, at least one of the authors must hold this degree.
The Revista Eletrônica Direito e Conhecimento (REDEC) has been working to raise the standard of editorial quality of its issues, especially with regard to the technical criteria required by indexing services that evaluate and contribute to the dissemination of the journal’s work.
As a result, the REDEC editorial team has carried out a rigorous evaluation of submitted manuscripts, rejecting those submissions that do not comply with the journal’s guidelines.

For the submission of manuscripts to the Revista Eletrônica Direito e Conhecimento (REDEC), it is essential that users register in the journal’s system and correctly complete all required fields. Incomplete registration and metadata completion during the submission process will result in rejection of the article, as it compromises the indexing of texts in databases.
When completing the “Identification” field in your profile, it is important not to enter the names of the author and co-authors in ALL CAPS, respecting the proper use of uppercase and lowercase letters. It is also important to indicate areas of interest for evaluation, should you wish to collaborate with the journal.
When entering the names of the author and co-authors, the field “Preferred Public Name” must not be completed under any circumstances.

Regarding complementary data, it is essential to correctly complete the following information:
URL: for authors registered in the Lattes Curriculum platform, insert the stable link to the profile.
ORCID ID: link to the ORCID profile. If you do not have one, it can be created quickly here: https://orcid.org/register
Institution/Affiliation: full name of the most recent institution with which the author is affiliated. Example: CESMAC do Agreste College.

When completing the “Biographical Summary” field, please limit the information to: highest academic degree and field; position and institution; areas of professional activity; research interests; main publications; related areas of activity, if any; and contact email.
Example: “PhD in Law from Estácio de Sá University (Unesa-RJ). Full Professor at CESMAC do Agreste College.  Email:  fabiano.silva@cesmac.edu.br.

If the manuscript is co-authored, please confirm with your co-authors whether they are also registered on the Revista Eletrônica Direito e Conhecimento (REDEC) portal. If not, ask them to register and complete all required information. A maximum of five (5) authors per article is permitted.
The manuscript must be submitted electronically through the journal’s designated submission field. To submit, it is necessary to register as an author. After registration, the system itself will indicate the steps to be followed for the correct submission of manuscripts. The system will automatically notify the Editors of the submission. The manuscripts will be forwarded to reviewers anonymously for evaluation, in accordance with REDEC’s policy.
Submission, processing, and publication of manuscripts are free of charge and do not incur costs for authors.
If the author has questions, problems, or difficulties during the submission process, please contact the editors via email at redec.agreste@cesmac.edu.br.

In addition to the article file, a file containing a “Cover Page” with the necessary information and requirements for manuscript evaluation must be attached. The template can be accessed in the cover page section.
