VALIDADE E APLICAÇÃO DA ESCALA HOSPITALAR DE ANSIEDADE E DEPRESSÃO EM PROFISSIONAIS DE SAÚDE:

uma revisão de escopo

Resumo

A Escala Hospitalar de Ansiedade e Depressão (HADS) é amplamente utilizada para rastreio dos sintomas de ansiedade e depressão em diferentes populações. Esta revisão teve como objetivo identificar estudos que utilizaram a HADS com profissionais de saúde, a fim de avaliar a validade e os aspectos metodológicos da sua aplicação. Foi realizada uma revisão de escopo com busca nas bases de dados LILACS, Medline, BDENF e IBECS entre novembro e dezembro de 2022. Foram incluídos 60 estudos os quais apresentaram que a HADS é um instrumento utilizado em muitos países e em diferentes instituições de saúde com os profissionais que nelas atuam. Apenas 14 (23,3%) avaliaram as propriedades psicométricas da HADS e diferentes pontos de corte e classificação dos sintomas foram identificados. A avaliação das propriedades psicométricas do instrumento e a padronização de medidas possui relevância para garantir a robustez e reprodutibilidade de um estudo. Apesar da falta de padronização de medidas e informações fornecidas, os resultados demonstram que a HADS apresenta boa confiabilidade para rastrear sintomatologia ansiosa e depressiva em profissionais de saúde, sendo útil para estabelecer estratégias de proteção e promoção à saúde do trabalhador.
